Not sure if Patrick plays again, but I would take a flyer on him.

Bear could rotate in with Heinola or someone. I am sure their will be an injury at some point.

  1. Reichel, Kristian

Additional Details:
Reichel is a decent prospect and should be enough sweetener in this deal to make it worth it. Schmidt waives for Anahiem, because let's be honest. Who wouldn't.

I'm not a Ducks fan, but every team in the league has at least a couple of their own "Reichels" (fringe forwards that are hardly even a scoring threat in the AHL). He doesn't qualify as good enough to make taking Schmidt's contract palatable- let alone with a pick going to WPG.

I would have a 7th rounder coming back and I doubt it matters on who is sent as a sweetener(for us). This just needs to be done....not for salary cap, but for two young guys having playing time in Chisholm and Heinola

4th or 7th doesn't really matter. Likelihood of either of those picks playing in the NHL are slim to none.

As a moose season ticket holder, Chisholm is not NHL ready. I am not so sure Heinola is either, but we should give him a chance.
