would say it's a great trade for NYR. Gives them a 40G scorer for a team that's in win now mode. Gives penguins a 1st overall that's still trying to find his game.

I'd take Laf on the pens, think he could potentially be good with Sid, but not at that price lol

It’s still a bad trade laff and a second for guentzel and a fourth guentzel is worth like 3 firsts

Rangers easily decline. They wouldn’t trade Laffy within division

If they wanted Guentzel it would be all future assets and not current roster players. Besides he would be strictly a rental
