I think if that was a rental trade there could be some merit in that offer. But marchand is a franchise winger for boston and he has 2 years on his contract. I don't think vegas is on his 15 team ntc but I'm not sure how that works with teams added to the league after the contract ... (I don't think boston moves marchand anyways at this point in his career anyways, his contract is too good and he means yo much to the lockerroom)

Some players NTC lists are submitted every year by July 1st, while some are provided when the team asks for it. Either way, the rules for when to submit the list is negotiated by the team/agent into the player's contract. If the player does not submit a list by the deadline (July 1st or when asked), they will be tradeable to any team. In any case, Vegas/Seattle can be included in these list if contracts were signed prior to the teams joining the league, as the lists are recent
