Yep we're bad and we know it. It's called a re-build.

This is the perfect chance for Grier to start the rebuild which he should have done last year.

To me, I look at teams like Boston who have massive holes at center and think Hertl or Couture are perfect fits.

With all due respect, I think the SJS fanbase could forgo losing another trade today.

How did you not see this coming? Also, a 1st round pick is not the end of the world.

Whew. Finally over. None of us on capfriendly got close to predicting the finally trade. I don't think amyone saw Montreal as the 3rd team. Everyone was expecting the Sharks to retain more and get more picks and prospects. $1.5M per year is shockingly low retention. I'm satisfied that the Sharks got a first and so much cap space. That cap space will be valuable in 2025-26 and 2026-27 when the Sharks need to sign young players coming off their entry level contracts and sign some decent FA's to support them. Until then I'm embracing the tank and attending Cuda games. Tank for Celebrini!

What's your new name going to be on Capfriendly? I suggest SharkTank. Glad the wait is finally over and we can get on with our lives.

Everyone saw the trade coming. No one saw three trash bags coming back. Not even a prospect? Sharks give up a pick? Terrible.

Does PIT need anymore good fortune? Two generational players and the NHL consistently all over you? This **** is a joke.

It was Karlsson who controlled his fate. Everything aligned. Trust me, we are thanking our lucky stars.

That's half of my problem. He screwed this team and will do so for the next 4 years.

Sharks are now retaining on him and Burns. Unbelievable.

I’d like to see Hoffman in top 6 LW, I like Thrun in there, but I think Knyzov will play, not a scratch.

Given the picks we have from each, I'm going to be cheering on NJ and hoping the Pens crash and burn. Turn that NJ 2nd into a 1st and hope the Pen's 1st is #11.
