I really like this trade for the Leafs and I hope the rumours are true about the Leafs' interest in Peeke, however I think the reason CBJ might be willing to move Peeke is because they're already stacked on D, so I don't see them being interested in Brodie (another D). Brodie would probably have to be moved in a separate trade.

The same rumours also explicitly said the Leafs value Brodie more than Peeke and he likely isn't going the other way.

The last thing Columbus needs is another bottom 6 winger and another defenseman. And we sure as heck wouldn't be paying a 2nd to help you guys out of cap hell
