Holtz for Hellebuyck isn't happening unless it's like one for one

That changes nothing, we hardly need the retention if we're giving up Vanecek, who is worth way more than 3m of retention for one year btw

So Jets give up Helly and get Allen, Bruv they would take Vitek over Allen. This deal hurts the devils, Bruv why are we rushing for a cup, the window just opened, Getting helly means that they have to win faster than expected like why are we panicking for a rush cup. I swear fans make playoffs for the first time in years and now they just want everything fast. Seek medical attention.

So? I've been through this a thousand times with Jets fans. There is no urgent need to replace Vanecek, therefore there's no reason to trade our top forward prospect.

Get 1 year to talk deal with Hellebuyck to open the playoff window for a long term (5 yrs) and still have Schmid ... sure bro i can give you clinic advice if you need some wink

Well if the price is right you do it. In this case, the price is not right.

My god you Habs fans are absolutely delusional with your trade proposals. 2 cap dumps, a C prospect and a 2nd for one of the best goalies in the league? Not to mention Helle said he wants to win, so if they trade him, it sure as hell isn't going to be to Montreal

Its a 3-way trade, Jets get a 1st and Holtz too, NJ doesn't do this though.

Idk, would have to ask Devils fans that, not sure he moves the needle much for the Jets but if Helle says he wants to go they may have to take a 1st and whatever else they can get, there just isn't much of a market for Hellebuyck imo.
