Solid forward group and great goaltending but that defense looks patchy, if Harley and Lundkvist take big steps this season they'll be fine but if not it looks like a defense that needs at least one upgrade in the top 4.

Harley already took his step forward. Was our second best dman in the playoffs. Def need Nils to do the same this year. Gotta see what a healthy Hakanpaa looks like. Gotta see if Stankoven or Bourque can stick in the top six (makes Marchie movable for cap purposes). Could even see Steel looking good with Segs and Duchie. Etc. I don’t see Nill making a move til we see what we’ve got if that makes sense
