Leafs need a nasty, clear the net, big hits d-man that is a PK guy. Dobson though a real good young player, isn't what the leafs need on the backend.

I'm thinking that may be a TDL add.

I'm not crazy about trading Willy but was just throwing an idea around. I realize Dobson is a second pairing D-man but he's still young and has potential. I also realize that Whaltrom has had a hard time sticking in the NHL which is why I added the 2nd round pick. I'd honestly rather keep and sign Nylander but in case a deal cannot be agreed to I figured this may be an option

How about Dobson and Romanov for Nylander and Timmins?

The Islanders would probably not trade 2 young d-men. Romanov is the kind of d-man the leafs really need though. I was really suprized the habs traded him in the first place.
