Columbus accepts. Probably flips him for someone waiver exempt or sends him down to the A.

Zucker, Dumba, Kerfoot and Bjugstad all chose to sign there this off season. ARZ might be a joke of a franchise but it isn't as undesirable as playing for Canadian teams or for teams like Buffalo, NYI, Philadelphia etc.

[Obvioulsy those players signed in Arizona for the money. Arizona has the worse travel schedule in the league. Certainly a player like Brodie, late in his career isn't waiving for Arizona. Don't know why you think all Canadian teams are undesirable . New York City Isles, with the cozy Atlantic travel schedule would be desirable to most players as would most Eastern Conference teams.

I think they meant that the weather is nice there all winter. Guys can golf in January between home games. That's pretty damn enticing. The money helps, too.

Why wouldn't he? Lower taxes on the biggest salary hes made in his career, nicer weather, less pressure and less attention in the city whats so bad about that? want that

How does Brodie's and Jarnkork's salary change? Lower taxes? Quite looking at personal income taxes. Playing on a good team is more important for 95% of the players. Nicer weather. Well I'll grant, but Arizona adds hundreds of hours. travel hours compared to teh Leafs Players have N NTC's for a reason, and saying Arizona is desirable for people in Jarnkrok and Brodie's situation....fantasy.
If Brodie and Jarnkrok had been on Arizona's trade list they would have traded for cap reason by the Leafs this summer.
