Durzi is a much better target when he has a year of term with control that you can get for under 1M considering retention. This team shouldnt care about picks the next 2 years. A 1st plus a prospect should be enough. Durzi is a very good RHD that was misplaced on the left in LAK having to drag a terrible partner.

Edmonton should be prioritzing cheap talent at the TDL that can be effective in their top6 much like Tampa has done with spending 1sts at the TDL. Bandaids wont get it done. We saw what happened when Holland finally spent a 1st plus on Ekholm. The Oilers were the best team in the league from the TDL on to the end of the reg season.
Holland putting a 1st and Bourgault should be enough of an overpayment when the Yotes only dropped a 2nd. That is simply good business for Armstrong and good timing on Holland's part.
