I don't think NJ trades for Helly. They'll need future cap space to sign their young studs currently playing on bargain entry level contracts. Luke Hughes, Mercer and Nemec to name a few.

Helly is going to want to sign a retirement contract in UFA. I don't know if he'll get it? GM's just saw Adin Hill win a Cup in Vegas. Kuemper won one in Colorado. And Temper Tantrum Binnington won one with the Blues. Pens with Murray.

I think GM's are going to be careful not to spend too much in goaltending. But that's just my opinion. Goalies could be like running backs in the NFL. Valued less than they should be.

Get Hellebyuk as a rental while keeping assets such as Holtz and Nemec. NJD wont stop persuing NHL calibers player in trades just because it "too soon". They proved it wasnt.
