Hanifin's worth at least a first, and that's Bolduc/Dean/Neighbours. Kappy can be taken out but STL needs cap space to make the trade and cant see scandella or leddy waiving to CGY. And Tucker whos already looking in from the outside will end up back in the minors.

I think many Blues fans would jump on this. Personally, I'm not sold that Hanifin is the best move.

Hanifin as a free agent next summer - after finding a way to move on from Krug or Leddy (or both) - would be a good move. Trading for him right now would be a little imprudent IMO.

A whole lot of unnecessary pomp and circumstance surrounding this deal.

I'd like to see how the blues play before doing any big deals. Value wise if Hanafin comes with an extension then sure but if he is only a 1 year rental then it make no sense for us

I have a few others I'd prefer to target for fit/cap hit reasons. Lindgren would be most ideal if the Rangers feel like doing more stupid stuff to get under the cap. I also love the idea of Forsling, who would presumably take abgood bit less cap and term to sign.

They can trade anybody to make anything work if they want to.

The spirit of the thread is getting rid of CGY trash for other teams' treasures.

Hanifin (trash) is only worth Tucker and a 2nd (treasure)

That's the offer.
