With respect to Johnny Gudreau, who was a better than ppg game player in his career point totals, Nylander who isn't a career ppg player, should not get more cash.

Probably, though I still think Nylander would be the better player in that scenario especially if the cap goes on a constant rise you'd be more looking at a solid team structure with each year gaining more cap to make the team better around the core
