Description

Seems like a big haircut but it's August and he doesn't have a team. Supposedly he doesn't want a one year deal. Not a lot of teams have much more space to offer much more than that and the interest certainly isn't there.

To be fair the media day thing was reportedly a mistake

Why? So we lose size for no reason in Nosek, for any overpaid player who is gonna play 4th line minutes... Nice 300k instead of having 1.8m for improvements at the TDL, Nice idea... Say it with me LET HIM GOOOOO there is not room for him.

Only 23 roster spots. Had to send Nosek and Tierney down. Part of their salary is buried in the minors.

Signs with the Avs two weeks later for $1M less and half the term. Would have been a steal.
