ANA has no room for another RD, but maybe somewhere else. Value isn’t bad

Was going to say no one's giving up mid picks for bottom of the lineup players. Those guys are probably waiver candidates come start of season.

The premise was less about getting value for Timmins and Laff, but rather subtracting their cap hits to become compliant. Whether that's through waivers or a trade, makes no difference at the end of the day. Should Tre go the trade route and find a taker, this is what I believe their value would be. More than likely I can see Laff being traded for a 3rd-5th and Timmins being waived.

I'm not inclined to move a guy like Jarnkrok as that could backfire. He's got a lot of value in the middle third of this lineup, where, Laff is mostly a 4th liner. Nylander isn't being traded this close to training camp. Makes little sense not just for the Leafs, but for the team trading for him. The price should be huge in order for the Leafs to move him.
