McBain at Lw4?! What do you want for him?

I just can't see him beating crouse of Zucker on the wings for the third line, but I could see swapping him and bjugstad, just wasn't sure on his face-off stats, he'll get his chances tho!

think to start cooley will be w 2 of kerfoot, zucker, crouse combo. let him get taste of NHL and w guenther and maccelli lots of talent but no size and little experience (I can see down the line with one or two but not to start out)
4th line I think carcone - mcbain - kerfoot/boyd/guenther
agree on bottom pair which 2 earn the spot of those 4 (unless soda really improves he can start in AHL top pair get more ice).
dont see cooley on PP1 - hayton already comfortable w kell/schm and crouse and guenther switch PP1

This team is going to score and allow a lot of goals. Gonna be fun to watch for sure. The main issue I see is that you have two pairings of 3rd or 4th defenseman. But JJ could grow more this season as could Durzi. So who knows?

I can't see Guenther on the fourth line, I'd say 3rd line minimum maybe swap Crouse in for him, I say they throw Cooley rightt in, he has shown the talent that they have to see how he reacts to those situations early in the season.

agree guenther (talent wise) should be higher but I dont see a huge difference in 2-4 lines and think going with each line having a playmaker (cooley, maccelli) a scorer (zucker, guenther) and a big body in front of net (crouse, mcbain, bjug) and kerfoot or boyd or carcone filling in the holes.

i think at least start of season is all about cooley, guenther, even maccelli building confidence and easing into the game.

Moser is under the radar good. He is the defenseman that AZ put over the boards against the league's top lines, actually did a really good job of shutting down, McDavid, Thompson, Pasta, etc. last year. I can see him developing into a really good top 4 D. Solid hit for an overager 2nd round pick.

Nah I love Moser's game. I think he's got a solid chance to take that next step.
