Sure Carolina's GM fixes a divisional rival's defense for them with 2 big upgrades... That'll happen when hell freezes over. Toronto doesn't have the cap space for it anyhow.

Canes aren’t selling both, they will deal one or the other but not both, besides Nylander while good isn’t worth all three of those players

That would make it a good deal for both if it meant they meet in round 3.

I do agree Toronto needs to give more than Nylander and the 5th, so what would you want for Nylander? I think he could score 45-50 for the Canes…Canes need goals and Leafs need D…Leafs have goals and Canes have D

What about just Tero and Pesce…Nylander and what else makes the deal?
