Cost Certainty and Control

Description
I think these moves add balance and some youth with experience to the Leafs' line up. Many additions are RFA's under team control. Kreider is still effective on the PP and both he Kakko add more speed to JT's line. Chiarot will see less ice time in Detroit with their recent moves so Yzerman would likely prefer 1 year of Brodie instead of 3 more years of Chiarot blocking developing players. Tre takes the cost certainty in hand. Nylander gets to play with Panarin and Lilly plays with another fellow Swede in Gustafsson. Schneider is exactly what the Leafs need and should build around him on the back end. Big, physical, mobile, makes a good first pass. Doesn't take stupid penalties while playing his style of hockey. Wahlstrom and Robertson need a change of scenery and Abruzzese gets a better shot at playing in his home state of NY. Pens want more bottom 6 help so might as well give Lafferty back to Dubas even though he is fine on the Leafs. I would rather sign Gregor and take the draft pick and cap savings.

Rangers don't even take that phone call. Nylander to the Rangers is not a possibility and Schneider and Kakko are off limits, but keep dreaming.

The new Hab fans.

I know the rangers have some annoying fans but I think habs and leafs fans are a whole different beast.

So for like what seems to be the 100th time. Sullivan says no to Lafferty. Pens had Lafferty back in 2019-2021 when he was with us Sully played him on average 9:00 per game (4th line time). Why? Because Lafferty does not play the game the way Sullivan likes his bottom 6 players to play.

Dubas unlike the last regime is actually taking what the coach is asking for for his team into consideration.

With that being said Pens decline

Pens likely don't take that, they had him already.
Detroit should take that and run.
That Rangers trade is something else, I can't believe you have them adding a first lol.
