Price is fine for Nylander, but again, Nashville isn't the destination for him.

Fair enough. Seems like they're on the fence about rebuilding or taking another shot with Saros, ROR, Josi and company.

Appreciate the feedback though.

By bringing in more physical players who can skate and pressure the puck, hopefully disrupting the other teams carries, causing turnovers and creating space for our elite talent in the offensive zone, While being able to get to the dirty areas and score greasy goals when space becomes limited in the playoffs.

It absolutely changes how a player plays when they're faced with a roster like this, but there's also enough talent here that they're not just a bunch of goons.

It doesn't, that's his schtick. He posts several times a day and all of his posts are terrible for the leafs. All so he can insult leaf fans

Why would Seattle decline? Timmins can step in for Schultz and they'd just be making a slight downgrade from Tanev to Lafferty on the 4th line after their depth bumped him down. Maybe swap the 5th with a 2nd, and Robertson with Minten + Voit

Jets trade is just supposed to be about equal value, maybe you need a 3rd team to parlay that

Replacing guys who always have the puck with guys who never have the puck and are always chasing is a great way to be not great.

There's no incentive for Winnipeg to get more expensive and worse.

I would maybe crack the piggy bank open to see if I could buy a ticket to watch that team live.

I know Khaira had concussions, is that why teams are staying away? Or is there more . Surprised he hasn’t at least got a PTO.

Yeah I'm not sure tbh, maybe we're better off just throwing mcmann in there

I have seen more Flyers trades of them fleecing teams taking Risto today alone then probably in the entirety of the 2 years we have had him, did I miss something? Did he kill Hedman and take over as Hedman?

I thought a flyer fan would know what an incredible back half of the season he had. Somehow, he ended up with one of the best defensive performances in the league playing shutdown minutes on the Flyers...

He's always had an elite toolset, he just hasn't been known for smart decision making defensively. After the way he ended off last season though on such a poor roster, I think playing with the talent the Leafs have in the structure they employ could finally unlock his full potential, which has always been a top pairing RHD. Considering the last two players to fill that role as Rielly's partner were Schenn and Lyubushkin as TDL rentals, I think this could be a smart investment for the Leafs.

This Leafs D core needs to add size, mobility, physicality and offensive production. Risto has the ability to provide all those things at a high level, we just have to help him get there.

Dude he had a decent season last year but he is a 3rd pairing defenseman at best

Um...... But now your defence is bottom 10 in the league.
