I just know for a fact that it's September 15th and if you Google it about 90% of analysts seem to have heard the same from me and others I guess. But it's definetly tomorrow.

As to why, idk for sure. Some teams have fiscal years that end in August so they like to push some money into the next year to balance their books. So it could be that they did that in Year 1 and decided to do that each year after. Some players negotiate for delayed bonuses if the salary is low on the last year to avoid being traded to Arizona for example who likes those kind of deals.

Flyers would prefer to give youth that spot especially if ur only going to offer us a 4th to take on that cap. I don’t care about the real dollar value and neither does Briere. Comcast is a trillion dollar organization they will pay whatever they have to. Cap is king and his contract stinks. A 4th doesn’t cut it.
