3-year: Cirelli $4.8m
7-year: Boldy $7.0m

OTT has no cap to make that trade

I don't see Mercer making more than Hischier, even if Hichier signed his years ago. I'd say $7m is probably the max line he'd get without a 35g season this year.

Cap is going up and Nico is underpaid. Boldy got 7, and Mercer would only need to put up 60 points to meet that comp

This. I do like the idea of locking Mercer to 7 years though. I think 7x<7M is the way to go.

They will have about 11 million in cap space, assuming Pinto signs for 2.5, with 5 more players to sign to get to a 22 man roster.

Assuming cap goes up to 87.5, OTT will have 13 mill in cap space to sign, Tarasenko, Pinto, Kubalik, Brannstrom and Soogard to sign

Tarasenko will probably walk. Kubalik might be traded to make room for Pinto this year. . Brannstrom could get re-signed and Soogard will be in the A for at least another year.

Just saying, I don’t think Ott has the cap for 1 mill 4th liners

Players in the mix :

- Mathieu Joseph : will be there if not traded now, very useful bottom-6 forward, hope they keep him and have the luxury to play him on the 4th line

- Erik Brannstrom : not him but to make a spot for Kleven, they SHOULD trade him for a young Top-9 forward

- UFA : Sens will have 11 M$ of cap space like you said to sign Pinto and Brannstrom (who should be trade for a Forward), they will most likely go after a few UFA forwards to replace Tarasenko

- Roby Jarventie, Zack Ostapchuk, Egor Sokolov, Angus Crookshank, Oskar Pettersson, Jiri Smejkal, maybe someone else. Depends who will be ready but Ostapchuk will most likely be in the lineup next season. Sens are pretty damn high on this guy. Jarventie is a high end talent, it's all about him "putting it all together"

There COULD be a spot for Curtis but most likely it will be jammed pack
