I agree with your forward lines - I would personally swap Marner and Nylander but both options work. The 3rd line you listed here is the one I want to see but I know Tre mentioned that they see Domi more as a winger than a centre to start. Time will tell.

D pairs I disagree with. McCabe and Brodie had a rough time in the playoffs together.

I would go:

Rielly - Brodie (pair was great for years)
McCabe-Klingberg
Gio-Lily
Timmins

I would love them to add a Tanev type to this group and run:

I agree generally with TMLBRIAN regarding defense, however I think the forward lines are off.

The problem with these forward lines is you effectively have terrible defensive players on your 2nd and 3rd lines. Tavares bertuzzi amd nylander will get torched defensively. You can't have domi centre Robertson on a line from a defensive point of you either. Plus domi is unlikely starting at centre and Robertson is likely starting with the marlies but who knows.

Third lines are shut down lines , that line could not shut down an AHL line.

As is this team is doomed to lose in playoffs I can guarantee it, So sad to see another horrible start to TML season. Horrible players given stupid contracts that do not fit what we need . Players crying they want more money and refusing to sign. Think this is for sure my last year watching this train wreck as sad as it is to say. Was hoping Treliving would change things but it is obviously Shanahan pulling the strings and when a moron is the leader there is no chance for change. There are teams that have better management , coachs , players that take team deals because they actully want to play there! How can anyone sit there and tell me with the players we had for the last 5 years we can't even sniff the 3rd round. Yet a 6th year team won the cup? We should be ashamed of our management and how bad they are. I also predict a 3rd year team SEA will go farther then TML in the playoffs this year,so sad .

I like Marner with Matthews but i thought he would help with Tavares slowness.

IMO I think Nylander and Marner should be swapped. Marner and Matthews are always looking for the highlight reel goal. Marner never shoots when he is with Matthews.

I would also move Domi to the wing, Kampf at 3C, Holmberg for 4C. Trade Jarnkrok for a bucket of pucks and a bag of practice pylons. I think a few of these Marlies are ready to battle for a spot.
