This team has good depth, a good goalie and a solid d-core, but they still severely lack a top-flight goalscorer.

Ya I agree, I had a tough time figuring out a trade for a top line winger that would work.

Brock Nelson is too good and makes too much money to be playing 3C minutes. I'd put him on the wing before dropping him down to the 3rd line.

Also, that trade would be atrocious for Boston. Losing DeBrusk would be bad, but doing that just to pick up 3 years of 30+ JGP at 5m is not something Boston wants to sign up for.

Two over-35 goalies, but one is signed for one season at $1 million and the other is signed for 4 years at $2.75 million. Talbot is more valuable to Los Angeles than Varlamov and far less risky.

Arvidsson for Martin is simply inconceivable.

AZ likes the 1st but losing two guys just signed - the only players over 30 (both 31) makes this already team ridiculously young - and having to retain leaving only 1 slot left. with a million picks in next three years think AZ rather have couple vets mentor all the young guys
