Obviously, he is in Russia, so risks of not coming to the NHL are very possible, but he could outplay Mailloux maybe. If not, he will be a crazy #5 D

Let me guess, caniac told you Nikishin was the best prospect in hockey?

I think he's overrated a bit. Yeah, put up a great KHL season, but on an insanely stacked KHL team. One that's usually always stacked.

The stats he puts as a young D is pretty crazy ngl, but it is true he is on basically the best team

Lol. Good thing he isn’t rated highly as a prospect or was a 1st round talent but only fell because of a believed heart issue. Either were true then this statement would be you showing off your 5th point of contact.

Means you are showing your rear end because of a dislike for a poster. Nikishin is a top prospect

Nikishin: 11 games played 3 G 5 A 8 P
The entire rest of the СКА D-core: 61 man games played 0 G 3 A 3 P

Konyushov: 11 games played 1 G 6 A 7 P
The rest of the ХК Торпедо D-core: 56 man games played 5 G 8 A 13 P

I heavily disagree that "he plays for a stacked team". If anything that label should go to Konyushov, who plays on one of the best teams in the KHL with one of the most stacked D cores. Both are elite prospects, whether they turn into elite NHlers remains to be seen.

St. Petersburg has been one of the top teams in the KHL the past like 4 years. They are one of the bigger markets in the KHL and are able to afford good players. They are usually always stacked. I'm not saying Nikishin is bad, just that his numbers are a bit inflated because he plays for one of the most stacked teams in the league. And I agree, we'll see how he looks when he comes to the NHL
