Description

- Poitras has looked pretty solid this preseason, I think he gets a shot to start the regular season (potentially a 10-game stint)
- The 4th line center job could change (but from rumors I'd assume it will be Brown)
- I have the B's starting Lauko in the AHL since he is on a two-way contract opposed to Boqvist or Greer

That centre line up just isn't good enough. Losing Bergeron AND Kreijci has been devastating, to an otherwise solid team.

Personally think both Poitras and Beecher get a look at 2C & 4C.

Poitras is not a winger. You will hurt his development putting him there.

Regardless if Poitras gets 9 games or not, he's not ready to handle a full NHL season just yet. His IQ, vision, and skating are NHL ready, but his conditioning and strength are not. Which is understandable for a 19 yr old, that's something he can't really control until his body grows into it.

Also, Beecher > Brown & Lauko > Greer. Lauko has waivers, you can't send him down without risking losing him, doesn't matter if it's a two-way contract. If Capfriendly doesn't have the waiver exempt symbol beside the player, he has waivers.

Agree Mitchell > Zboril.
