Heinen is gone there’s a reason he’s not playing tomorrow. All “bubble” players are playing tomorrow. Lucic & JVR are the only forwards not on to play for tomorrow. Boqvist will play with Pasta & Zacha. If he does well he will be 1 of the 3 scratches. His roll will be to replace anyone in the top 9 for injuries.

Brown, Steen, Greer are all competing for the last spot. Greer, Steen, Brown is the order if the journey was to start today. This spot is for someone to rotate in the fourth line. Watch out for Steen… sneaky good camp and would be appreciated on the penalty kill…

Lucic - Beecher - Lauko are locks to be on the team will definitely be fourth line on opening night unless an injury.

Poitras will have 63 & 74 on his wings and will stick around for the first few games for sure especially against “lower tier” teams.

On defence: Forbort gets sent down. Some like it some don’t if he gets claimed on waivers great that’s 3M cap space opened up. Lohrei plays better with better players which is why they Bruins front office wants him playing in the big leagues for development reasons.

Mitchell wins 7D as he’s a righty - Shattenkirk will the defender that comes out the most often. If a lefty gets injured then they can call Forbort back up or Zboril.

I don't think Lauko is a lock. He should be,but his play hasn't shown that. I hope he locks it down tomorrow though.

The 13th forward doesn't need to be a 4th line plug. The Bruins have plenty of guys they can call up for a short term 4th line role and send back down that either would clear waivers, or wouldn't even need waivers. I could see Heinen or Boqvist being a 13th forward that can effectively slot into the bottom 9 for a few games on either wing, but the same can't be said for Greer or Brown. And through the preseason, Heinen has shown more than Boqvist. I wouldn't be so quick to write him off.

And at this point, I think Lohrei is destined for a top 4D spot this season, but probably not to start the season. By the end of the season, I think he'll be there.

Can't wait to see what they actually choose for this team on opening night! Hoping Poitras can stick for the year, too.

i think gryz is gone before forbort. he nets a better return, more cap relief and doesn't play the pp or pk and has looked good in preseason. forbort once up and running plays some dirty pk minutes the team values so i think he stays.

He won't be sent down because he will get claimed. He is pretty much a lock to make the roster, this doesn't mean that he will play every game tho...although I would personally like him to.
