The odds he gets claimed in my mind are very low. But this is coming from someone who though JBD would 100% get claimed and that 5-10+ teams would have put a claim on him...

So what do I know? Lol

Poulin was sent down today as well. I think Zahorna and Harkins make the team.

Dubas traded for Zohorna at the deadline last year and really liked what he brought overall. He mostly played in the AHL but Dubas liked him.

Zohorna as your 13th forward is quite probable.

He was with Pittsburgh for two years prior to that. Sullivan likes his versatility and pk ability. He had a very strong preseason too. He will likely start on opening night.

The GM doesn’t make these roster decisions, the HC does.

The GM always has a hand in it lmao. It’s not just the coach.

So, you think Dubas has a hand in whether Hinostroza or Nylander makes the team? Lol. No, that’s Sully. 100% coaching staff.

In his 2 years with the Pens - Zohorna was on the ice for 20GF and 3GA which is just ridiculous. Scored 10 points in 25 games while playing less than 10min a night. He definitely doesn't suck - especially as a 12/13 forward

Lmao, what in the hell are you talking about? Of course the GM assembles the players. I’m talking about guys like Nylander and Zahorna. If they make the NHL roster or not is the coaches decision.

Yeah, the GM always has a hand in what happens as well. He’s the one who has to waive the guy. It’s not ONLY the coach man.
