Reaves is not going on waivers.

Here’s what I think they do. Play Minten 9 games and send Reaves down (he isn’t getting claimed). During that span the Lightning and Avalanche likely solve their goaltending situation then you send Jones down with him getting claimed being very unlikely. You then dress a 20-man roster

Reaves isn’t getting waived and no chance the leafs run 3 goalies. It makes no sense with their cap situation.

Idk they might do it as a cap flexibility move (kind of like Simmonds) but it will be done more so to prevent an emergency like if Woll or Sammy get hurt.

Not so much to give Minten a spot

It's unlikely, but the Leafs start the year with three goalies and run Minten for nine games. After that 9 games span, they waive Jones (by the 9-10 game mark, very likely TBL and COL have their goaltending situation figured out) which makes it unlikely he gets claimed.

Looks like Lafferty was their cap move. I knew it was either gonna be him or Jarnkrok (I mean it still now has to be Jarnkrok or Timmins)

I think one more moves coming as if they move Timmins they can have a 21 man team with a 775k Dman or forward and Minten

Yah before Timmins comes back from waivers 100% one of him or Jarnkrok is getting trade (or maybe even waived). I’d prefer to keep Timmins but I like both
