I don't think the Flyers are looking to trade Tippett, but my guestimate would probably be around a 1st and a prospect with nhl potential. If you can convince Markstrom to waive it'll probably take more since we already have Petersen's salary for two years and a few goalie prospects nearing NHL contention. I don't really know how to value the dump of 3 years of a goalie so I'd say add a couple extra draft picks in the 2nd-3rd range.

That sounds like a fair price both for Tippet and to move Markstrom. The hard part would be convincing Markstrom to waive and if he won't waive then we'd have to move someone else to free up at least a little cap space or get some retention on the last year of Tippet's current contract. Players that could be available in a trade for just Tippet would include Vladar for sure and possibly Dube or Zary.
