Boston does not have the cap space and will not trade Lohrei.

Take Lysell instead, make it at the deadline, you have a deal.

Bruins won’t trade at deadline; they aren’t making the playoffs.

Why would we trade for Reinhart after trading away Lindholm?

Zing! But his point was that the Bruins cannot do this kind of trade right now, but they could after they accrue some cap space later. If the Bruins think that they could re-sign Lindholm, then they wouldn't care whether or not they are in the playoffs. If they aren't sure that he will re-sign, then they probably won't make the originally proposed trade even if they are in the playoff hunt, because it completely torpedoes their LD behind H. Lindholm.

There is no such thing.

Everyone is moveable for the right price or right piece.

Lysell has never been “that guy”.

They are not going to trade him for a middle 6 center, a guy already in his 30s, a guy with a bad contract. They are not trading him just to trade. Not trading him in move that makes no sense. Which most of the trades on here fall into those categories.

If they have the chance to add a premium/high end piece at center, 28 or younger. He is certainly expendable.
xercuses and Celtics21 liked this.

The talent level of Lysell is pretty obvious though I am not crazy with how he’s played since the World Juniors. His speed, edges, handling, and shot are all high level skills, but he he needs to let other people create for him or he’s basically walking away from the very things that could easily make him a solid top 6 wing.

Lindholm is a vet interesting trade piece, but I will argue that when you are against the cap … it’s hard to properly value the players going out as salary filler. It’s why a lot of deals don’t happen. My guess is from a salary piece, Frederic or Geekie would need to be part of this deal.
