Leafs are beating Lightning and Matthews won't be outscored by Connor Bedard or putting up lower than 95 points... And then not even being named for the Rocket, Selke or Hart... LOL

Clear NYR bias but I am referencing the 61 points for last in the league while also yet again losing the lottery, dropping down 2 spots, and taking yet another D lol.

And I'm referring to somehow, Matthews has another down season, they win the division only to be 1rst rounded by the team they beat just one year ago, Matthews gets outscored by a 17 year old and by a 38 year old despite being the highest paid player

But valid on your point... Detroit's my dark horse for the playoffs

How is a 17 year old going to outscored 2 franchise centermen known for their outrageous offensive talent and defensive prowess?

Bedard and Matthews swap seems more likely. I don’t see how Matthews doesnt creep around 100 points.

Generational talents in rookie year

Crosby 1.27 ppg
McDavid 1.07 ppg
Bedard 1.17 ppg

I think 96 pts is a fair number if he stays healthy

I’ve already given up hopes on the lottery lol. I just think it’s funny is all. Plus there was more to my original comment for context.

With what team... Crosby had Malkin, Fleury and others, McDavid had a young Hall, Eberle etc.

The only way would be if he screws his wrist up this year but even then, he'll be at least a year removed from wrist surgery

You're missing that he played on 1 wrist this past year... And the year prior, he finished 1st for Rocket and Hart and 10th for Selke... But now, he's also playing PK

With what team... Crosby had Malkin, Fleury and others, McDavid had a young Hall, Eberle etc.

Huh?

2005-06 penguins finished 1 point out of dead last place, and Crosby got better as season went on as team got worse. Also Malkin arrived the following year.

2015-16 oilers were also 1 point out of dead last place. Team offense was bad. McDavid got hurt. And didn't play with Hall...his most common linemates were Eberle, Pouliot, Yakupov, Maroon.

I get that lol. Again I’m just making the point that the Wings are better this season than last year and somehow they end up at the bottom comfortably… AND just to add insult to injury they don’t even get to pick Celebrini in this abomination lol

EDM's defence and goaltending is suspect IMO, especially against a Colorado but yeah

If offered, you can have this selection today for 2024 draft...but need yes/no immediately, what would you say?

Detroit: Artyom Levshunov (RD)
