Please, no more of these. Nobody wants that Garland contract.

Add a 3rd going to the Preds and retain 990k on Garland and I think that'd be fair.

I was perplexed as to why the Preds are even linked to Garland really..... but the I thought,"2 years of Garland, and if he can do we think he can, Trotz flips him in his UFA year." So then you think trade.

Frankly I don't think the Preds move Fabbro. But id they were to.....



I think it takes more than $990k in retention to get that done. But the pick is a must.

My inclination is the Preds would be more interested in moving Carrier in this case - as he is a pending UFA.

Now I get how this may not interest the Canucks much, but given the reported parameters Alvin want in this deal, moving the contract seems more important than receiving a D with term. Carrier is capable - and at the very least Vancouver can see of he fits before extending; and likely for less than Fabbro.
