Is Xhekaj even good? He's probably the toughest guy in the league, but idk how he is as a player. Like is he going to be a top 4 guy? Harris seems to have top 4 potential, so its interesting you'd part with him, before Xhekaj.

He is something like an Orpik/Edmunson type with a better shot
He is a top Hitter and Shot Blocker, got great reach and tough on the boards.

If you just want as tough as him then Vincent Desharnais in EDM is much cheaper alternative.
Xhekaj is young and a workhorse who went from 196 to 238lbs in 2 years and went from unable to score to a real hard slapshot
He's constantly evolving his game as he helps his Brother elevate his. We drafted both Xhekaj's for a reason
They have Strong Character as they were raised by a strong mother who supports her family openly and fanatically.


Harris is good but he's not top Pair type
He's very similar to Matt Roy in LAK far as potential

Matt Roy is a pure defensive dman. That's really good if Harris ends up like him, but I thought Harris was more of an offensive guy.

This is absolutely dreadful for Ottawa. That defense is much much weaker. Just don't trade Chabot, we have a strong defense for the first time in years, let's destroy it!

That bottom-6 is absolutely not NHL level (Imama is not NHL level, MacEwen is a 4th liner AT BEST). Poor Greig, goes from playing with Joseph and Tarasenko to Imama and MacEwen lol

Xhekaj is very intimidating but he's quite bad defensively. I'd rather just wait for Kleven who is probably already better at hockey. Pair Xhekaj with Joshua Brown and they'd literally be the worst pairing in hockey.

Ostapchuk is also a guy they don't want to trade.

Finally, Joseph at 2.495 AAV is a pretty good contract (just going to take a bit of time to defeat the misconceptions but it's in progress), trading him with Kubalik for a BAD player and a 2nd is not what you want to do


Simply trade Kubalik for whatever for Christ's sake.



Pretty good shot, very tough but that's about it, don't give him more than 3rd pairing minutes or you'll get destroyed
