Sens don't need another left shot D, especially a 30 yr old undrafted one, now for picks or a right shot D at league min, maybe.

However, I feel like if the Sens moved Kubalick it would be to get all his cap space available and it needs to be for picks only.

Grieg - Pinto - Joseph third line for the sens would be great.

With everyone knowing your in cap hell and still need to shed cap 3 games into the season to sign a key player I doubt teams help you much, sadly your getting Pennie’s on the dollar for Kubliac or anyone you move.

During the last 3 games for Ottawa, Kubalik has been a ghost.

And in each game, he has gotten less ice time.

If Kubalik's play continues to deteriorate, Ottawa should accept this trade IMO.

MacDonald plays both sides effectively. Also plays forward as he did with Colorado last year. Who cares if he’s undrafted? Panarin, Marchessault, Zuccarello etc all undrafted…weird comment.

He's not needed in Ottawa and there's not really a spot for him, it's just that Dorion is kinda slow to understand. Every offseason, I talk about what should be done or not, then it materializes and Dorion reacts.

That said, why not just waive Kubalik if nobody wants to pay anything? He'd get picked up 100%

There isn't a collusion against one team in the real world, any team making a move will do it for their own benefit. It's as simple as that. If a team think they could use Kubalik and either sell him at the deadline or keep him as their own "rental" for the season, they will trade for him.

I’d pay something for Kubalik. Granted, he isn’t going to get a lot of return. Looking at a 7th round pick or a 30 something fringe NHLer…just the way it is.

Yes but with only a handful of teams even remotely interested and even less with cap space to help you your hands are tied.

He'd be a good fit on the Sharks this season. Pay a low price to get him, feed him PP time and sell him with a nice profit at the deadline.

We have no way of knowing how many teams would be interested. Tied hands or not, teams operate on their own benefit. It only requires one team to have a need. Injuries are going to pile (Arvidsson and Dach already, and probably more as I haven't checked)
