The optimistic way to look at it is that they are doing ok right now and as other teams take on injuries the market for the Sens will open.

You really don't need to get fleeced like this just to have the incredible luxury to carry JBD and Chartier as extras.

Just trade Kubalik for a pick and be done with. This is how Dorion has managed his way into this.

And the Sens really need Brannstrom this season, Kleven is not ready enough. One Top-4 injury and they're screwed
