I think Gibson has a bounce back year. Losing AND Dallas Eakins as your coach would be a demoralizing thing.

Gibson has been one of the worst goalies in the league for more than 5 years, he's one of the biggest reasons for all that losing

Even if we could convince Gibson to go to Toronto, you're doing this trade because you see Gibson as an upgrade in Samsonov. McCabe isn't enough to balance that trade straight up, let alone nearly 4 years retention.

As for Bush, we just paid more than that to acquire him, why would we retain on him for that?
