Just do Peeke for Beauviller, trading Podkolzin would be a mistake. I'd also be willing to bet Garland rescinds is trade request if the Canucks have a good season

Prefer to not be anywhere near Peeke and his awful contract. We don't need a depth guy on a three yr deal.

Peeke is a 6/7 D at best. Garland Peeke straight up is weak as it is, but at least he might get snapped up on waivers if push comes to shove. It's all about the cap here. This trade would probably have happened already though if it was ever going to. Gotta think that IF the Canucks retain (it's THREE YEARS) on Garland they will absolutely get something meaningful back.
