Kinda screams Kyle Dubas too to be completely honest. I think it would be a mistake for the Canucks to do this though, and Allvin does have the final say in the end, not JR

Well aware JR isn't the GM, but he is still head of Hockey Ops and to assume he isn't involved in these types of decisions at all would be stupid imo.

It’s not an awful proposal but it just doesn’t fill any need for us. LHD are the easiest to find on the market.
