I think the Leafs would prefer to keep those assets and the chemistry of Bozak-JVR. Plus, I was reading a couple of insider tweets and the deals that either were or are on the table for Duchene (not sure if they've been pulled off) are substantially more than that. Yet, GM of the Year candidate (and I say that quite sarcastically), has not even flinched. Think something like an unprotected 1st rounder in the incredibly deep 2018 draft, Noah Hannifan and Elias Lindholm. That price is simply ridiculous.

how is duchene better than bozak? and need money to sign nylander next year.
