    That has to do with the coaching and star leaders, not Myers.

    How about instead, the Bruins re-sign DeBrusk and then decide if they want to sign Bertuzzi in the offseason. Things could always change, but it sure doesn't seem like he will be signing an extension in Toronto unless something changes.

    This is just for this season. Bruins can have both next year.

    I guess the relevant point for this season is that I think Debrusk is going to get a new contract in Boston, so he probably won't be available.

    Completing a trade with Boston is hard because of their cap situation and ditto for the Leafs. DeBrusk is the only player making 4 million or more with only 1 year left so he's the ideal player to get back in a trade. It's a 1 for 1, and seeing Bertuzzi rip it up in the playoffs last year I think his game is more suited for the Bruins than DeBrusk.

    Keep him for the rest of the season when he walks in April...
