I mean that they were never going to be a playoff team this year anyway so the fact that they're not making the playoffs is not a surprise to anyone.

Sure but not Monahan and not for a 1st because this front office has traded a 1st rd pick one time and that was when they got caught short in the goalie carousel before the 22 season and Monahan doesn’t exactly fit the profile of an Avs forward. That all being said if they literally have one more game like last night they might just move somebody out just to make a statement.
