Mantha has been useful depth for the Caps this season. Worth 5.7m? Absolutely not. A serviceable 3rd line winger, yes. With Backstrom retired they have absolutely no need to move off his salary, and taking back a guy in Armia who has an extra year of not being worth his salary is absolutely not going to happen.
