The need is top 4 D. This trade doesn’t make sense for a 32yr old D for 3yrs. Canucks are in no rush.

Garland for TVR straight up I think I'd do. Not with the third though.

SEA declines. Unless the offense starts really clicking here in the next 10 games or so, SEA will likely either be selling or not making any moves at the deadline. The offense has just been too inconsistent and I don't see Kuzy really helping that.

I think Vancouver for sure accepts that. The cost to move Garland without retention is more than a 3rd.
