Honestly I'm on the side of people that wouldn't mind seeing Detroit grab Campbell, as long as there is decent compensation. But Broberg isn't really a need in the organization. Would probably be better for both teams if you kept him and then sent another first and possibly a second.

Detroit passes, We don't need LD in Broberg. And honestly Reimer is playing way better than Campbell.

Broberg is going to be a really good NHL-defender but Detroit don't need any left shooting defenders, we already have a dozen of them. Also I really don't think Yzerman wants to trade Sprong if he can avoid it.

Drop Sprong and the picks and the rest will be OK'd.

Reimer is a null asset, but Sprong and the picks are both pretty decent. The issue, however, is that horrendous Campbell contract that is top-3, maybe the worst contract in the league. Broberg, although still a young asset, has not been doing as well as one would hope. The 1st is nice, but likely to be late. Just not enough to eat Campbell's contract.

I'll take Edmontons first and hope for the best
