Thats about the price to move him. Likely a 1st instead of a 2nd if Allen is going the other way.

I think Habs would want Bourgault and a 1st instead of Halloway and a 2nd

Oilers won’t retain that much on Campbell. They’ll either move the full $5M cap hit or bury him in the minors. His buyout is pretty team friendly with the cap going up that it doesn’t make sense to retain on him

Neither did Barron, Dach or Newhook when they traded for them. Bourgault is an underachieving 1st round pick with size and skill, exactly the type of player this management team likes to go after. It's just my opinion but I think they would be more interested in Bourgault than Holloway based on their history.
