This is just my personal opinion but, I think Garland isn't good and I'd be disappointed if he went to Calgary.
I'd rather Beauvilier, at least his contract is up at the end of the season.
Also a 1st and mid prospect who based on stats is having a great start to his season isn't enough for Rasmus IMO

I like Andersson but I don't feel our prospect pool can afford to be giving up 1st + Brzustewicz. I think this year would be better worth it not making top end deals. I think a lesser deal for Tanev with 25 2nd+lesser prospects/picks would be wiser for us in the long run

Calgary fans wont like the trade but I do (Nucks fan). Problem is its early days and Calgary still has time to turn things around. Andersson would be ideal however, if a conversation did open. Right age and has term on his contract. I dont like giving up Hunter or a first but given the return I think I could be convinced that this would be a great move for the Nucks. I am a Bear fan, but Andersson is several levels above what Bear can offer and thus the price.

But to that end, would rather not give up a little more now and get something for 2.5 years and much younger? If they were both pending UFA's then i would say Tanev is the better get based upon Vancouver's situation. But with term and good cap hit, Andersson is the better get to continue the development and rebuilding of the D-Core. Huggy-Hronek Soucy-Andersson is a pretty solid Top 4 to have for the next 2.5years
