I don't see this trade working for 2 reasons
1) Montreal is overpaying IMO
2) Edmonton even with the cap relief would need to trade away either Skinner or Campbell, I don't see them carrying 3 goalies since they are so desperate for cap space and can't waste it on a Primeau type of situation

Holloway would have to really pan out into a great player for this to make any sense. Too risky from Montreal

Projected to be but isn't yet, and we have seen players have stunted development in Montreal ... I'd be happy to have him but its a lot to give up. Take out the 2nd and the 6th and then makes perhaps some sense

Yeah, they waived Campbell but, now you're potentially messing with Rodigue's development with him taking starts away.
Your trade did take a step towards more realistic though
