I would not be shocked if Hertl is traded before the offseason which would leave Boston out of it.

Boston does not want or need a goalie coming back in an Ullmark trade.

Ullmark basically makes the biggest concern for the devils go away. I really don’t see Bahl as that differentiated from the dozen AHL defenseman out there and while Schmid is interesting, Bussi is a damn good option in Providence and Boston doesn’t need a goalie.

I could see Hertl in a trade that involves Ullmark, but more likely than not … Boston stands pat and tries to improve on the fringes

I doubt thats near enough for 6 years of Hertl

thats not enough for Ullmark either, and Bruins would be looking to upgrade their forwards when trading Ullmark, not a bottom pair Dman and a backup goalie
