Idk man, If Pontus can't crack the Leafs bottom six he would just end up on waivers next summer. Jets also have a lot of prospects like Niemela. If you want Dillon + retention, you'd have to solve a problem for the Jets roster, not give us some unnecessary prospects.

Well that depends. If we're competing this year, two things we really need are a stud rental 2c and a rental top4 right-handed stay-at-home Dman (to play with Morrissey if DeMelo gets injured). If we're selling at TDL this year, we would be really interested in assets we can flip for a stud 2c or a top4 right-handed stay-at-home Dman.

I think we would only be trading Dillon if we're selling at TDL, in which case it would be flippable assets like draft picks. Obviously Dillon isn't going to be worth a 2c on his own (maybe a less experienced RHD tho).
