Description

2 million left for a deadline addition, the bottom 6 is clearly scoring above a rate which they can sustain, Suter in particular has been playing great but is due to regress. That 2 million allows flexibility to make a move like this

No point in paying extra to dump Myers when his contract is relieved at the end of the year anyways, he seems to be a big locker room guy and he plays fine in a sheltered bottom pairing role. I don't know if the Canucks have a place for Woo but he seems to be having a productive year so far and could be a solid trade piece.

If the Jets are in the hunt, they will not trade away Demelo, unless they replaced him with somebody significantly better...

Yeah if the Jets are in a position to trade away DeMelo they would just take the 1st rounder some contender would give them.

The only way the Jets are trading Demelo is if they're out of it at the deadline, and if that is the case, then we're doing it for picks.

if you want a RD, I could envision a scenario where we find some way to bring in a legit difference maker at RD, then are wanting to move on from Pionk on the cheap, but I doubt that happens. If they do bring in a difference maker, one of Heinola or chisholm will go the other way, we'll waive stanley and put Schmidt in the pressbox if we have to.
